About
Hello! I am grateful you have arrived here.
A little about me....
My entry to Earth was upon the sacred portal of Samhain (Hallow's Eve), when the veil between the seen world and unseen world is thinnest. I have always been able to feel, see, connect and stand in both worlds, though it took time, experience and healing to hone my innate skillset to holding the bridge for others.
I sense my burning desire to understand and seek truth supported much of my own self reclamation. This willingness moved me to approach life and the systems at play with a mindset of inquiry and curiosity. From this lens, I was led to the unveiling of the over-culture's systems of injustice, oppression, and the greater collective fragmentation from Earth and Spirit. This truth ignited a fire in my heart for action and service, and guided me to a deeper understanding and connection to my work, onto a path of practicing and living life in right relationship, personal responsibility, ritual and prayer.
At the young age of 4 years I began seeking an understanding of Creator and our spiritual pathways as humans. As my developing mind grew more reflective so did my education and desire to explore and experience the unknown. I have worked in several fields of wellness and transformative healing throughout my life, along with supporting women and children in a domestic violence shelter, and spearheading several non-profit fundraising campaigns and benefits, especially one dear to my heart for women and children in Nepal. I have had the honor of teaching and leading thousands of hours in classes, workshops, retreats and trainings in yoga, breathwork, meditation and integrative energy healing locally and internationally.
With great honor I have trained and continue to study with master teachers of mindfulness and wellness, such as Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Jack Kornfield, Gabor Mate, Isa Gucciardi, Stephen Porges, Dr. Joe Loizzo, Daniel Siegel, Brene Brown, Maty Izraty, Annie Carpenter, and many more. I hold undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Women’s Studies, certifications and education in Integrative Massage Therapy & Nutrition, SmartFLOW® Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation, and the academic study at the graduate level at Naropa University, a Tibetan Buddhist school in Boulder, Colorado for Transpersonal Counseling Psychology.
My continued education over the last decade led me to the catalytic counseling method of Depth Hypnosis with my elder and teacher, Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream. The integration of Depth Hypnosis into my existing practices was paramount in my personal life, especially as a mother, and with clients.
My Healing Path
I have faced much grief and loss, as well as childhood and adult trauma and spiritual emergencies. Challenges that I have risen to are the death of family members, healing with an auto-immune condition, loss of a business, several pregnancy losses, becoming a first time mother during a global shutdown, adapting to motherhood in isolation, shifting from codependent to interdependent relationships with family members, supporting neurodiverse family members, midlife career transition, and learning to understand my own sensitivities as a powerful strength. I could not have navigated the depths of my pain and the rekindling of my Soul without traversing the many healing modalities of therapy helping me widen my own inner wisdom and harness the innate resources and tools from within.
My own transformative journey greatly contributes to my dedication, study and practice of the contemplative and consciousness pathways to support others onto their own reclamation of their unique medicine and inner guidance. You will find I weave integrative energy medicine, earth based shamanic practices, Buddhist philosophy, yoga, mindfulness, trauma informed education, somatic therapy with nervous system knowledge, Parts work, Nature, and transpersonal psychology to inform our collaborative work together.
My path of service is led by a belief that all beings may remember and reconnect to the medicine within of wisdom and peace.
I currently reside, work and dance on the lands of the Kumeyaay and Luiseno (Oceanside/San Diego, CA). When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, who comprise of my partner, James, our sun child, Julian Hawk, and fur child, Remi, as well as my nourishing village of mamas. I find great joy in writing, gardening, cooking, connecting to Nature, camping, hiking, and sharing gatherings with creative and conscious community, especially in prayer.
